A few weeks back, I decided to exercise daily in order to stay fit. The first day of exercise was good. I was like “ hmm this is not too bad, why do people complain about exercising?” but by the second day I started experiencing muscle cramps. I wanted to cut back on my routine but on second thoughts decided to keep at it. Well by the fifth day of exercise, it got a lot more fun and rewarding. I’m even thinking of increasing my regimen.
This reinforces the fact that it gets easier when you keep at something and not give up. That dream or idea you’ve had, start making it a reality. At first it may be painful or unpleasant but think about how you would feel when you accomplish your goal/dream. You may feel uncertain, scared, fail a few times but if you don’t give up, it will get easier and better. You will get the hang of it, be stronger wiser, and start excelling. It might not take five days but it will happen. So to quote one of my favorite artists Kirk Franklin “Get Up and Go.”
